This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This book “Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site” was a book about Construction Sites。 This book rhymed and went into detail about what construction workers do。 It showed different POV’s of all these different tools that are used daily and showed what they have to do during the day and then heading to sleep at night。 The pictures in this book filled every corner of the book and spread on both pages。 This book was a very fun book to read。

Perfect little book for construction vehicle loving toddlers。

Love this book! My oldest son loves it sooooo much。 I got it for him because he’s a huge fan of his Father’s heavy equipment operating position。 He is always pointing out the different trucks on the road; so having this book is everything! He clings to it like it’s his bible。 I plan to get more of your construction site books。

Very cute。 A library borrow! Will revisit when the child is older。 😋

Kids loved it。 They want to read it over and over。

For: construction/vehicle fans; readers wanting a sweet bedtime book。Possible red flags: snoring and yelly neighbors。

The text is so cleverly written, and the illustrations so fun in this bedtime book。 It’s nice that each truck has a ‘shh’ moment that makes the story feel relaxing as you wind down with the construction site。 My nearly two year old immediately loved it!

Fantastic! We switch out the pronouns so that not all the trucks use "he" but it is otherwise flawless。 Fantastic! We switch out the pronouns so that not all the trucks use "he" but it is otherwise flawless。 。。。more

The workday ends and all the construction trucks get ready for the night time and power down。 The characters are all the different types of trucks。 (Crane, cement mixer, dump truck, bulldozer, excavator) All the trucks are introduced to what their job is and how hard they have worked all day。 There is not a storyline, no real beginning, middle, end, no climax or resolution。 The book starts as work time is ending and each couple of pages is a different truck going to bed。 I really like the illust The workday ends and all the construction trucks get ready for the night time and power down。 The characters are all the different types of trucks。 (Crane, cement mixer, dump truck, bulldozer, excavator) All the trucks are introduced to what their job is and how hard they have worked all day。 There is not a storyline, no real beginning, middle, end, no climax or resolution。 The book starts as work time is ending and each couple of pages is a different truck going to bed。 I really like the illustrations, they look like the medium could be colored pencils。 All the trucks have faces and emotions drawn in。 This book could be used in a math lesson for a classroom grades k-2, where you can use the different trucks as ways to combine or take away numbers。 For example, the dump truck added 5 loads to the pile, the excavator added 3 loads。 How many loads of dirt are in the pile? I think this could be a good way to make the math more interesting and you could print out some visuals of the trucks and some dirt piles to use as manipulatives! 。。。more

Fun to read aloud。They're all 'he/him' though, so I just change a few to 'she/her' when I read it。 Fun to read aloud。They're all 'he/him' though, so I just change a few to 'she/her' when I read it。 。。。more

The crane has a teddy bear! The mixer and his tiny blanket! So cute。 Plus the rhymes aren't heavy handed or tongue twisters。 My 2 year old loves this book。 The crane has a teddy bear! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I love this book。 The meter is perfectly soothing and the functions of the various pieces of equipment are explained well at the same time。 Removing one star because they didn’t choose to include any lady trucks! It’s easy to switch their pronouns but perhaps the authors will consider an update at some point。

Sara Asmussen

Okay but seriously。 All of the characters are male。 WHY

Peter's 2nd birthday gift。 Can't believe this was in 2020。 Feels like so long ago。 Peter still loves construction vehicles and names them as we drive past construction sites。 Peter's 2nd birthday gift。 Can't believe this was in 2020。 Feels like so long ago。 Peter still loves construction vehicles and names them as we drive past construction sites。 。。。more

We like this one! The rhyme and meter are good, and I feel like I am learning about what the names for big trucks are--it's cool to see these typically hyper-masculinized vehicles normally depicted as such in settings where they are personified as doing fairly mundane bedtime routine type things。 It's a rather sweet book, and the illustrations are good too。 We like this one!
